I am currently working as a Data Scientist on the Query Formulation and Reformulation Feature crew which is a part of the Microsoft Search in Bing Team.
My primary goal is centred around improving relevance of the Related Searches experience. This is accomplished through identifying suitable data sets from query logs, mining this data, developing and training algorithms and models to infer query-query similarity. It involves creating a candidate set through clustering techniques and then implementing ranking models on top of them.
Another important aspect is identifying potential collaboration partners working on related problems and creating synergy with them.
