Leading the Connected Data Cloud and Embedded engineering unit responsible for the cloud, data,
and on-vehicle software that powers Scania's connected fleet services across Europe. Owning
technical direction, organizational design, and AI enablement for the unit.

Owned the Tachograph Services engineering group (16 engineers) delivering off-board compliance
services for Scania trucks across Europe a regulated, mission-critical service with direct revenue
• Drove strategic and commercial investigations to reshape service direction; contributed to initiatives
projected to increase profit by 15–20% and reduce long-term costs by ~60% through a third-party
solution partnership led vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and integration.
• Built a performance review and career development framework adopted by the group, enabling
both vertical and horizontal growth paths
• Coached and mentored engineers through structured 1:1s, technical mentorship, and servant-leadership practices

Led the Matching team at a high-growth venture-backed talent marketplace the team that built the
matching algorithms pairing engineers with global opportunities.
• Optimized team delivery velocity by ~20% through improved backlog grooming, clearer ownership
(RASCI), and tighter scrum ceremonies freeing capacity for strategic work.
• Managed and mentored engineers across four countries and three time zones, coaching the team
on agile delivery, unblocking cross-team dependencies, and mentoring individual contributors

• Grew overall revenue by ~60% and cut operational costs by ~10% through commercial strategy,
pricing discipline, and vendor optimization while scaling the delivery organization.• Built the company from concept to revenue: set technical direction, built the commercial pipeline,

Co-founded and ran engineering at an IoT / RFID / access-control startup — my first 0→1 build,
covering the full spectrum from architecture to invoicing.
• Delivered the Mecca Waste Collection Management system — a large-scale IoT deployment
during Hajj season with complex operational constraints.
• Architected and shipped a standalone IoT hub product, Emaar Dubai's survey and MSM checklist
systems, and a hospital access-control platform.
• Owned pre-sales, client communication, proposals, and rapid demo cycles directly with GCC
enterprise clients.
• Hired, coached, and mentored the engineering team; set hiring bar, evaluation standards, and
technical culture from day one — several early hires advanced into senior roles.
