I'm a Fullstack (Web App) Engineer with roughly 16y career behind me. In the last 8 years I've been focusing more on topics that today fall under the Platform Engineering umbrella. I've done about 8y of Software Consulting and the rest I've been doing in-house development.
During my career I've been a CTO for roughly 2 years and an Engineering Manager for roughly 2 years. I've always enjoyed helping people and from my CTO experience onwards I've realised that I enjoy mentoring people. I now have roughly 7y of mentoring experience behind me and still enjoy taking on new mentees so that I can support their careers and well-being.
For the last few years I've been focusing on Developer Experience in Staff Engineer roles or similar, so have gotten ample insights into how organisations run and how to influence them.
