Decagon is a software engineering institute ushering in a new phase of tech-powered growth and prosperity in Nigeria by training and deploying an army of leader-developers.

At Decagon as the Delivery Coordinator, I
- Work with engineers to build world class solutions for clients
- Coordinate product delivery timelines for all product teams
- Interface between engineering team, product team and management team
- Serve as developer advocate and relationships officer
- Directly work with the CTO on most technical matters within the company
- Report to the CEO, CTO and Product lead on all the product statuses, their timelines, risk / issues, and team update.

While still managing the engineering team, working closely with the CTO and giving weekly reports to the CEO and CTO on the entire engineering team, I also work with a foreign partner - Vertex

At Vertex, I
- Build frontend applications
- Build parts and whole of wordpress websites
- Work in teams, basically as a frontend engineer to deploy mega wordpress applications.

As a software engineer, I built applications using react, react native and node.js

Decagon Recruitment Platform:
I worked with a team to develop the current recruitment platform used at Decagon for accepting new students into the program.

 - I was tasked with creating the frontend web components, making it reusable by other team members.
 - I also cleared all backlogs when a sprint was over.
 - I worked closely with the tech lead, as I assisted in getting the team to function effectively.

Cryptocurrency exchange platform:
I worked with a colleague in building a cryptocurrency exchange platform, the project was presented at sterling bank and we came out tops in our category.

As a Technical Recruiter,
- I sourced the current head trainer who has been very effective in turning around the quality of the program
- I sourced talents for management position in sales / marketing the engineers that were being trained.
- I was very effective in sourcing engineers-in-training for the program.

I manage the entire work flow of the team and as a team member do the following;
• Web application design, implementation and management.
• Writing markup for web projects (HTML)
• Styling web projects and making styles uniform (CSS)
• UI & UX Design.
• Writing the frontend logic using JavaScript and the library jQuery.
• Planned sprints and always had a sprint review before going into another sprint when necessary.

My job is to make sure all products we work on are of industry standards, I take feedback, translate them into data development teams can work with and then we iterate and put the product out again for testing. My everyday job is to make sure products we build solve a problem and can shape-shift as needed.

Created and hosted the first LAGOS MEET event in Lagos - bringing together the best designers in the state and from outside the state.

Hosted an event called Business of Design - we brought together design industry leaders and also discussed problems creatives face and how to deal properly with clients.

In charge of hiring Tech talent at the studio.

At myBukka, I was in charge of updates to the website and all newsletter designs.

At woworx, I worked in the capacity of a product designer, product manager and frontend engineer. I designed user interfaces on a number of projects, I was part of the software engineers, but I was solely focused on everything frontend.
I also had to manage clients expectations and manage the delivery of products to the clients.
As product manager, I managed each product using the Agile methodology, organised sprints and managed the team, from start to delivery of the project.
