Working with engineers

I help clients big and small with their product design and design systems. I design in Figma and develop presentational components with Svelte, React, Storybook, SCSS, and Tailwind. I also create prototyping, plugins, and offer consulting.

As a founding member of the Design Systems team that built Thumbprint, I created React components, designed and authored documentation, prototyped new features, helped planning, and evangelized the system. I also built and maintained an internal CSS library for engineering team, called Atomic.

I built and maintained our in-house UI component library and early design system, known as OUI. I also provided product design guidance and technical help on various projects along with mentorship for junior colleagues.

Developed front-end design and technical standards for digital book production and created functional prototypes of new features for the editor product, Habitat.
