About Tracy Dai

Senior Product Designer at LinkedIn

I'm currently working as a Senior Product Designer at LinkedIn. Before that, I worked as a product designer at Flexport. I worked on the sustainability domain to help our customers (Patagonia, Lululemon, Allbirds, etc.) to achieve carbon neutral in their shipping. Prior to Flexport, I was at Clumio for a short period and at Adobe for 4 years, designing different B2B SaaS software. I have over 5 years of experience in product design. I work very closely with product managers, researchers and engineers to build the best possible user experience to solve complex problems for enterprise users. I'm not a designer by training. I came from a marketing background and found my way to product design. And because of my experience with such transition, I get to understand a lot of the pain points to break into this area. In the past few years, I've been sharing my experience and mentoring junior designers to get into the space of product design, which gives me a ton of enjoyment to see them grow and succeed.
