Today - I'm a Product Designer working at TextUs, the leading conversational messaging platform for mobile-first customer interactions. I have gotten so much help from ADPList mentors that I want to now help other designers uncover what they are seeking in their daily work and career.
Background - Before design, I was in tech sales from 2016-2020. In the early days of the pandemic, I made a huge decision to switch careers and scratch my creative itch by enrolling in the General Assembly UX Design bootcamp.
Design Career - After the bootcamp, I freelanced for pre-seed SaaS startups and small business website redesigns. While freelancing, I was hired to be a product design intern at Sleeper, fantasy sports app. With some in-house experience, I joined TextUs as a Jr. UX Designer and with a recent promotion, I am now a Mid-Level Product Designer.
Skills - Work through design problems from beginning to end: translating research insights into ideas that form disruptive new products and features, then designing the workflows and detailed interactions to realize them.
