About tri kurniawan
Product Design Lead at Gotrade
I am a self-taught designer who has worked in the design industry for almost 16 years. As a Graphic Designer, I started my career in the design industry in 2006 at Jade Indopratama (a Media Printing based in Malang, Indonesia). My career in the design industry began in 2006 as a Graphic Designer. In 2009, I transitioned to becoming a UI/UX Designer and embarked on freelance projects. Throughout my journey, I had the privilege to serve numerous local and international clients, including PrivateFly, binary.com, 9Seeds, Bolio, Entryless, Interclypse, and Enlign Business Brokers.
2017 I ventured into the start-up tech industry by joining Kata.ai, a Jakarta-based chatbot technology startup. During my time there, I played a pivotal role in delivering the AI-based SaaS product, Kata Platform—an all-in-one chatbot platform. Progressing in my career, I eventually became the Head of Design and led a team of eight designers, overseeing both product and marketing design.
During the COVID, I discovered a passion for the investment world. Fascinated by investor gurus like Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, and Peter Lynch, I set a personal goal to build wealth and achieve financial freedom through stock and mutual fund investments. Motivated by this aspiration, I developed a keen interest in the fintech industry. I am grateful for the opportunity to work at Gotrade for 11 months, where I was responsible for delivering features for Gotrade Global and Gotrade Indonesia. In this role, I collaborated across teams and divisions, including Product, Marketing, and Engineering, and contributed to the improvement of the Gotrade Design System.
