Launched a best-selling course in design (Figma & Webflow) with over 100,000 students.

Working on product design projects with companies and agencies around the world: Content First, Modula Solutions, Purposed, Go Green City, Learn&Enjoy, to name a few. Projects range anywhere from marketing landing pages to SAAS applications.

Co-Founded UCADEMICS, a technology startup that achieved significant recognition by winning the first prize in the BIG APP 2014 startup competition, a prominent event backed by Facebook and Worth Capital London where more than 400 startups from Europe competed for a £300,000 prize.

I co-founded the startup together with my business partners Andre Rosendo and Maike Tils. As is common for co-founders in early-stage startups, I led several areas of the business, with my main focus on product and marketing.

UCADEMICS (formerly UKADEMICS), often referred to as the Booking.com of college degrees, was a platform that made applying to universities abroad almost as easy as booking a hotel.

One of the most challenging roles that helped me grow immensely in a very short period of time. I was promoted from a marketer to a general manager and was faced with a difficult reality of managing a small, growing company without having any prior business management experience.

What ensued was an intensive training no MBA could ever provide. Within few months the company was at the brink of a bankruptcy. But as it seems, nothing makes you learn and adapt faster than facing imminent collapse. I not only managed to pull the company up but more than double the profitability that same year. I discovered that what I lacked in hands-on leadership, I made up for in designing systems, structures, and incentives that made the organization run effectively. But none of that would have been possible without the support of my gifted business partners.
