How to get promoted

I play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a modern cloud-based Payroll application, utilizing a range of technologies including .NET 6, GraphQL, Dapr, as well as tools such as Azure DB, Postgres, Redis, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Blob. My responsibilities encompass defining an architecture based on CQRS, DDD, and Vertical Slice, enabling scalable development and solution flexibility.

As a team leader, I prioritize high code quality and process efficiency, implementing proven testing and validation tools (XUnit, FluentValidation) along with practices like SOLID and DevOps. I place significant emphasis on understanding business needs and integrating them closely with the software development process, resulting in solutions highly tailored to end-user requirements.

In my role, I provide not only technical support but also mentoring and active involvement in team development. I focus on effective collaboration, Agile methodologies (Scrum), and optimizing teamwork to ensure the team operates cohesively and delivers valuable solutions efficiently.

As CTO at a software house, I shaped the technological future of the company, playing a key role in defining its strategic development. My priority was to align the business vision with the latest technological advancements, ensuring our offerings stood out in the market. I was responsible for selecting and implementing critical IT systems and technologies that supported the company’s dynamic growth and aligned with its business goals.

I proactively evaluated and proposed optimal solutions that balanced technical requirements, available resources, and client budgets, ensuring the efficiency and scalability of deployed systems. Each technology choice was carefully considered to best support our business objectives and long-term growth trajectory.

In this role, my responsibilities extended beyond standard programming tasks. I was accountable for selecting technologies, libraries, and the overall architectural solutions across backend applications (.NET, PHP), frontend applications (Angular), and mobile platforms (Java for iOS and Android). With this broad scope, I had the opportunity to impact every layer of the software being developed, from system foundations to user interactions. I also oversaw server infrastructure and supporting services crucial to company operations.

In various projects, I actively participated in requirements analysis, cost estimation, and technical consulting for clients, which provided me with valuable experience in crafting efficient, scalable solutions.

Having full visibility into the entire project lifecycle allowed me to cultivate a comprehensive perspective on system development from concept to deployment enabling a deep understanding of both technical and strategic aspects.
