• Help BT with their strategic move into UK’s EV space by leading all UX research activities across public, home, and fleet charging verticals.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify research gaps and prioritise research needs.
• Design and conduct generative as well as evaluative research using a variety of moderated and unmoderated user research methodologies. Completed 18 user studies with 1000+ users.
• Manage user insights’ backlog to ensure incorporation of users’ feedback iteratively into design and development cycle.

• Led and collaborated with multiple stakeholders to identify research gaps and plan user research across agile sprints for credit cards, overdrafts, and loans digital application journeys.
• Designed and executed research to inform different stages of the design life cycle with valuable customer insights using a variety of moderated and unmoderated user research methodologies. Completed 31 user studies with 1300+ users.
• Conducted 2 remote ideation workshops and 1 full face-to-face Design Thinking workshop for 35 stakeholders.
• Owned and managed UX optimisation backlog to facilitate iterative user-centered design and development.

• Led and collaborated with multiple stakeholders to identify research gaps and validate decisions and user journeys with customer insights across online and mobile banking platforms.
• Planned, designed, and executed a variety of unmoderated and moderated user tests to examine users’ behaviour and attitude. Completed 30 user tests with 2000+ users.
• Evaluated multiple user testing platforms to complete procurement worth of more than £200K.
• Managed organisation’s relationship with user testing platforms and third-party services.
• Trained 35+ colleagues to conduct usability tests and democratise user research across the business.

Interaction Design and the User Experience

• Promoted, planned, designed, executed, and presented iterative user-centred research in privacy management and digital health. All projects were multi-disciplinary and funded through grants by public research councils. Led or contributed to 12 publications in highly reputed peer-reviewed computing conferences and journals.
• Prototyped novel concepts through physical and digital interactive technologies.
• Independently designed, conducted, and analysed 10 moderated user research studies with 150+ users.
• Facilitated 10+ design thinking and prototyping workshops for a variety of audience such as older adults, multi-disciplinary researchers, interaction designers, and engineering and management students.
• Analysed large amounts of complex literature to identify research gaps.
• Mentored 3 research interns on 3 different 4-month projects.

Human Computer Interaction Lab, Hasso-Plattner Institute
Built working prototype of a shoe haptic system including body tracking, to extend users' height while playing Virtual Reality (VR) games and enhance their immersive experience. Prototyping was done using a pillar drilling machine, laser cutter, Oculus Rift VR headset, OptiTrack motion capture system and Unity3D game engine. This work was published at ACM CHI’15.

Embodied Interaction lab
• Conducted empirical investigation into how users prefer to use their skin as an input for mobile computing. This work was published at ACM CHI’14.
• Worked on prototyping on-body input and sensing technologies (IMU based fingernail displays).
• Applied computer vision techniques to implement an age-classifier and detect the age of a person by extracting features from their front profile picture using MATLAB.

Foundations of Artificial Intelligence group
• Tutored 25 master’s degree students for the university course on Artificial Intelligence. The course topics included: general problem solving, intelligent agents, classical and adversarial search, propositional and first-order reasoning, planning, Bayesian networks.

Intelligent Information Systems group, DFKI(German Centre for Artificial Intelligence).
 Worked on intelligent android travel apps.

• Conducted manual, accessibility, compatibility and automated website testing using test tools like Job Access with Speech (JAWS), web developer tools, and different browser add-ons.
• Co-ordinated regular discussion calls between different teams and facilitated delivery of project
milestones within strict timelines.
• Supervised a team of 4 junior associates for half a year.
