About Vinay Manchundiya
DevOps Engineer at Apple
I'm a DevOps Engineer at Apple, where I've spent 5+ years building and scaling cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CloudFormation. In total, I bring 7+ years of industry experience across full-stack development, DevOps, and entrepreneurship.
Before Apple, I spent 2+ years at Hertz, starting as a Full-Stack Developer and earning a promotion to Senior Full-Stack Developer. I also co-founded Technospear Technologies, which gave me firsthand experience of building something from the ground up.
I earned my Master's in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, where I worked as a Graduate Student Researcher developing a research application for iOS and Android, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant helping students master Linux. Teaching is where I first discovered how much I enjoy helping others grow, and it has stayed with me ever since.
My own path has taken me from graduate student to developer, from developer to senior engineer, from employee to co-founder, and from application development into DevOps at one of the world's most respected tech companies. I know what it feels like to start out, to switch tracks, and to push for the next level. I'd like to make that journey easier for others.
