About Vinod Kizhakke
Strategic Design Lead at BCG Digital Ventures
Hello, I am Vinod. Strategic Designer and Ethnographic Researcher with a Tech, Product Development and Management background. I work in Product/Service, Experience, and Business Design, Strategy. I am most curious to learn about people. I also love tech. I always look at tech as a supporting actor in a human story. When a tech-first idea comes my way, I am the one asking ‘What problem are we trying to solve and for whom? How will we determine the viability of an idea/product? What are the potential unintended consequences?’ My different experiences enable looking at problems from the lenses of desirability, feasibility, viability and strategic alignment, rather intuitively. I move from one to another organically based on what is needed to move the idea forward to the next point of understanding and decision making. My toolkit is never fixed and varies according to context and problem space.
I enjoy mentoring, being a sounding board and gently nudging around corners so that you may see what you likely already know with more clarity. I have had people do that for me that I am very grateful for and I hope I can be that for you.
