Senior Product Designer at IBM
I’m an enterprise product design leader with 24+ years in design, including 19+ years designing and leading complex B2B, enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, and data-platform experiences.
At IBM Security, I lead enterprise product design across IBM Guardium, a data-security platform spanning cloud-native and on-premises environments. My work includes platform management, integrations, enterprise reporting, data retention, compliance, and AI-assisted workflows.
I combine product strategy, enterprise UX strategy, systems thinking, platform design, and design leadership. I remain hands-on with end-to-end workflows, information architecture, product concepts, prototypes, and design systems—helping teams turn complex technical requirements into clear, scalable experiences.
I partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, architects, and senior business stakeholders to frame ambiguous problems, set direction, align decisions, and connect user needs with product and business outcomes.
I also coach designers through critiques, workflow reviews, and design-quality guidance. My experience includes Carbon Design System adoption, accessibility, enterprise UX standards, and reusable design practices across cross-product, cloud-native, and on-premises products.

“Imagine you want to climb a mountain, and then become grateful that one left a trail. Vinoy Sir, is someone who guides you through it. He gave an insight into what makes a designer mature, approach to enterprise level problem solving, assessing the environment and what questions to ask. Few self sabotaging assumptions were cleared out too.”
