About Vitor Margis

Engineering Manager at Angi

Born in Rio, raised in Porto Alegre. Lived in São Paulo for 8 years, and currently based in Amsterdam with my wife, daughter and two dogs.

Back in 2010 I got a degree on Graphic Design and worked on a couple of small design studios, mainly as do-all web guy. Thats was until 2014, when I decided to pivot my career and focus only web development.

Since then I had the opportunity to work, as part of Vizir Software Studio team, on several start-up projects as well as big projects for big companies like: Sprinklr, Grupo Abril, Natura and Edenred, just to name some.

I than moved to the Netherlands to work at Travix International, a global online travel agency. There I worked as front-end Engineer and subsequently as a Manager, and was responsible for building the new front-end platform from the ground up with a incredible global team, using some of the coolest technologies out there.

I then joined Sesame, working as an Engineering Manager helping bring affordable health care to people in the US market. It was my first experience in a startup environment and as a EM hire and despite the short time there it was an year of intense learnings.

Currently I hold a position at Instapro, working as an Engineering Manager.
