About Vivek Tripathi

Staff Product Designer at LinkedIn

I am a product designer who is passionate about creating a usable, engaging and beautiful user experience. I am a complete user experience professional with experience in designing interactions, workflows, evaluating usability, gaining insights, design research, user research and visual communication. I have an academic background in HCI and usability. I have been a part of a successful startup, where I have tried and tested my ideas, skills, expertise with millions of users worldwide.

I believe that best designs are created when the designer empathizes with users, understanding the qualitative and quantitative aspect of their behaviour and use that understanding to come out with innovative solutions that cater to users as well as support the business goals. I like observing human behaviour and it helps me be a better designer. I also believe It's very important to analyze the right metrics from the system and use that insight to make better design decisions.

Apart from working as a designer I have also taken the responsibility of a product manager, data analyst, web developer many times and learned the art of building great products from all perspectives.
