About Wagner Reis
UX Manager at ADP
Hi, I'm Wagner! I'm a UX Manager with 16 years working on complex enterprise products. I've worked across product design, research, and I've been on both sides of the table: as an IC trying to grow, and as a leader trying to build the conditions for that growth.
We're all going through a real shift right now. AI is absorbing a lot of execution work we used to do, and that's raising harder questions: What's the designer's true role now? How do you stay relevant, not just efficient? How do you lead a team through that uncertainty?
These are questions I'm actively working through myself, and I think that's exactly what good mentorship looks like right now: not someone with all the answers, but someone thinking seriously about the same problems you are, with more context and a few more scars from other tech shifts (internet, smartphones, digitization, design systems).
If you're figuring out your next move, or someone stepping into leadership for the first time, I'd love to think through it with you!
