• I was an initial member of the founding team that took on digitization of the materials testing, and aggregate trading industry. I helped to analyze the industry, identify and communicate with our clients, and design a customer-centric application through their feedback. During my tenure here I oversaw product management, full-stack engineering, and developer management.
• I pitched our product and helped secure 3M+ in funding, from which I was then responsible for the strategic direction of the technology team and to communicate technological concepts, milestones, and updates to the investment team.
• I led the engineering team in writing, reviewing, maintaining, and documenting code, infrastructure, and DevOps pipelines. We implemented, Maintained, and improved REST & GraphQL API Services, as well as distributed database systems that utilized both SQL & NoSQL.
• I hired, trained, and led a team of 10+ engineers to build out two separate revenue-generating product lines. Provided coaching, and mentorship, alongside establishing the technical vision that aligned with higher company goals and directives.
• Designed, and implemented our CI/CD pipeline using Git, Github Actions, Jira, Cypress, Jest, Docker, AWS Lambda/EC2/ECS/API Gateway/S3/EBS.

• I led a team responsible for investigating and identifying the current needs of surrounding organizational units. For those that fit the criteria I developed non-intrusive client-centric full-stack applications that utilized ML micro-services to provide value to the organization in a myriad of ways.
• I engineered micro-services and data-pipelines that utilized CNNs, & NLP algorithms to offer micro-services in containerized full-stack accessible applications.
• I was an advisor for senior leadership to help facilitate long term decision making. I communicated with management to present ideas and help understand industry trends to ensure alignment on development initiatives.
• Worked with industry-standard frameworks and languages to deliver value to Canadian Citizens and attempt to tackle TOP SECRET Canadian concerns. This often happened through disaster recovery planning, fault-tolerance building, Certified compliance planning, environment segmentation, and my main focus, engineering at all stages of the SDLC .

• Identified internal sources of loss and isolated business use cases to design, engineer, and implement sustainable and effective solutions to drive company mandates.
• Received requirement elicitation documents, converted them to agile sprint work tickets to develop applications to specification. Conducted and ran sprints, managed feedback, established velocity to deliver accurate estimations, and used conventional Git branching and server environment practices.
• Engineered data-intensive applications that utilize a series of different systems to automate workflows or convey complex information to end-users and stakeholders.
• Helped to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
• Mentored interns/co-ops, conducted knowledge share meetings, presented at internal seminars, and owned several projects I was a part of.

• Worked with an international and multi-lingual team, coordinating over various time zones, and building methodologies and communication aids to ensure alignment and understanding
• Managed design sprints, collaborative processes, documentation and coordinated resources to ensure our design direction was in-line with the mandate of the UN and the overall vision of PCS4Kids
• Learned about the operational structures of non-profit organizations and how they source resources, and work from a financial, physical, and logistic standpoint
