I'm Design Strategy Director at Substantial, leading research, strategy, and experience projects with clients across a broad range of industries. I have a multidisciplinary background bringing together physical, product, and service design with innovation strategy.

I'm also host of the Optimistic Design podcast, a series which takes a practical, positive look at the future of design, ethical innovation, and technology. It's a chance to talk to people I admire about what excites them about our field and I learn new things from each episode.

Previously, I led business innovation and design strategy for Johnson & Johnson's design group and led an internal startup for MetLife's Innovation Centre.
