Hi, I'm Xavier — I run a growth advisory and AI-forward consultancy for founder-led businesses and pre-Series D startups ($500K–$20M revenue).

I spent 7 years in PM roles across domains (primarily fintech) before going solo — turning vision into strategy into execution, building complex systems, and bringing structure and process to orgs I've worked with. I've mentored Associate PMs into strategic leaders and helped place 5+ into tech roles.

Today I work solo across consulting and fractional engagements, and run The Product Loft, a Singapore-based product management community.

What drives me: Turning complex problems into elegant solutions — in the gray areas where customer needs, business constraints, and tech complexity intersect. That doesn't change whether you're inside a company or building your own. Only the stakes do.

• Resume Review (30 min): A practical session to help you improve your resume and tell a stronger professional story. We’ll review how to: * Highlight your impact and achievements effectively * Structure your experience for clarity and relevance * Tailor your resume to specific roles and opportunities * Avoid common mistakes that weaken your application * Position your skills and experience to stand out Bring your resume and, ideally, a role you’re targeting — we’ll work through how to make your application stronger and more compelling.
• Breaking into Fintech (45 min): I’ve spent the past several years working across payments, FX, embedded finance and financial infrastructure — both as in-house PM, and as consultant. In this session, I’ll share what I’ve learned about entering and building a career in fintech — regardless of your current background or function. We’ll cover: * The different areas and career paths within fintech * What makes fintech different from traditional tech * The domain knowledge that actually matters * How to identify and communicate your transferable skills * Practical strategies for breaking into the industry Bring your questions, background and career goals — and we’ll work through how you can find your path into fintech.
• Product Management as a Career (30 min): Curious about product management as a career? Whether you’re considering a career switch, exploring whether PM is right for you, or simply want to understand what the role is really like, this session is an open conversation about the realities of product management. I’ll share what PMs actually do, the different career paths available, the skills that matter, and practical ways to break into the field from different backgrounds. We’ll cover: * What product management is really like day-to-day * Different PM career paths and specialisations * The skills that actually matter * How to transition into PM from other roles * The less glamorous realities: ambiguity, influence, failure and stakeholder management No prior PM experience needed — just bring your questions and curiosity.
• Project-based Check-ins (60 min): A focused working session for those who are actively building, refining or working through a specific project, idea or challenge. Bring your work-in-progress, questions or blockers. We’ll review where you are, identify opportunities for improvement, and work through the next steps together.
• Product Interview Preparation (30 min): Look, PM interviews are weird. You’re expected to design products on the spot, estimate how many ping pong balls fit in a 747, decode vague behavioural questions, and somehow prove you can own outcomes without actually having done the job yet. Wild, right? In these focused 30-minute sessions, we’ll tear apart the interview formats you’re actually facing — whether that’s product design cases, strategy questions, or behavioural deep-dives — and build your muscle for thinking out loud like a PM. I’ll give you direct feedback on what’s landing (and what’s not), and we’ll craft stories from your background that show you already think like a PM, even if your title says otherwise.
