With Rakuten’s ecosystem of more than 70 services, global businesses and technology across Asia, Europe and the Americas, AI Products Incubation Section ideate, develop and provide transformative AI products in the fields of Commerce, Financial Services, Marketing and other Rakuten focus areas.

Key projects:
Incubating A.I Products through Generative AI (LLMs, ChatGPT). Rakuten eKYC, Rakuten Translate (Language AI), Rakuten Travel, Rakuten Ichiba (Merchant AI), AI Drone tech, AI Creative imaging, Credit score, AI Image evaluation

Key responsibilities:
Lead UX, CX research, workshops and design strategy alongside product teams within AI department and collaborate across all business units under Rakuten eco-system.
