About Zahid Patel

Senior UX Designer at Atlassian

I’m a senior UX designer residing in San Diego, CA and I have a passion for designing instinctive experiences which simply make peoples’ lives better.

My interest in learning about the end-user has been fueled by a lifelong desire to connect with folks of different backgrounds from all over the globe. With human-centered design, I able to achieve just that.

On a personal note, you may find me staying active outdoors, working out in my garage gym, exploring the ocean’s depths, learning about new cultures, training BJJ/Muay Thai, cycling around town...but also relaxing at home with my partner and our vivacious dog.

“Zahid was a great mentor. Before we dove into my portfolio, he tried to understand where I struggled in the job search process and gave practical suggestions to improve my chances of getting an interview.
