About Zara Abraham

Senior Product Designer at Mighty Networks

I am a Senior Product Designer, working on designing for community building at a medium sized, fully remote startup called Mighty Networks

I am a graduate from the Masters of Human-Computer Interaction and Design program at the University of Washington.

I have spent the previous 7 years building user interfaces and managing the application development team for mobile health behavior research at Stanford's School of Medicine, and then designing for glucose monitoring experiences on mobile, desktop and proprietary hardware at Dexcom, while I trained as a CGI animator, modeler, and rigger.

I have a background in film and animation and now, I’m passionate about using dynamic visual storytelling to bring human-centered experiences to life.

What mentees say

β€œZara is an amazing mentor who is very in tune with my portfolio's needs and my goals. I cannot recommend her enough!”

Patrick Glazer, UX/UI Designer at Xerox

β€œThanks to Zara's feedback, I've got some quick actionable wins for right now, and some food for thought for later as I evolve my case studies. In particular, I appreciated Zara's honesty.”

Rebecca Hardy, UX Design Student at N/A

β€œOverviewing one of my case studies with Zara, she was super in tune with the details and provided a lot of constructive criticism to help improve the legibility in both content and visual design. I'm grateful for her time as this'll definitely aid me in the job search, especially as I'd like to transition into a different role.”

Briana Omori, Product Designer
