Senior Interaction Designer at Google
I've focused on human-AI interaction throughout my career — from the first viral social robot, Jibo, to my emotional robotics research work at Cornell, to the effort to bring Gemini to living rooms via Google TV OS.
I have over 10 years of experience shaping user-facing products in the TV entertainment & media, and also AI companions areas.
Currently I'm a design lead at Google TV. I led UX of the Google TV OS team, managing the UX quality for over 270M+ active devices. I was also recently starting leading the Gemini Display initiative. We actually just announced and demoed this initiative earlier this year on CES. I joined Google TV as part of the founding UX team. I had an amazing 7 years leading UX for key initiatives. Before I stepped to leading OS UX. I led Better together UX, designing cross-device media experience. I also once led Apps & Recommendation UX and also designed Google TV's first setup experience.
Earlier in my career, I focused on human-robot companionship area. I once worked at Jibo – it's a social robot powered by AI that can be your companion of your daily life. Also I had an amazing one year research experience at Cornell's HRCC lab.
