The overall objective will be to predict and understand the evolution of startups in the blockchain space, as well as the progress different cryptocurrency ecosystems are making over time , and develop novel probabilistic, causal inference methods to dissect the causal relationships between the different factors influencing our economic outcomes of interest.

Technology Entrepreneurship Incubator
Instructor · The GSL incubator will walk future Mauritian entrepreneurs through all the steps of starting a successful startup in a condensed 8-week program taught by MIT instructors.

The GSL scheme is well renowned for its curriculum materials, software technologies, platforms and networks that will enable the techno-entrepreneurs of the future to foster innovation and enable the start-up ecosystem to achieve some quantum leaps.

Components of the course include a detailed business venture curriculum, funded business competitions, guest lectures, and networking events in order to help future Mauritian entrepreneurs develop their ideas.

1. prepare and conduct business lectures and technical lectures, such as market segmentation, beachhead market selection, define company core and competitive position, introduction of programming, and data analytics
2. interact with local investors and governors to build up the ecosystem for entrepreneurs
3. connect participants with the local entrepreneurs and initiate the mentorship program.
4. mentor teams in technical and business strategy during their MVP development. 
5. co-organize the DEMO day as one of the biggest pitch competitions in the country.

GeneTank is a AI-as-service marketplace for health care  using the latest blockchain technology. 
As a CEO, my responsibilities include:
1. Team members and advisers recruitment, and patent filing, and company incorporation
2. Fund raising, customer interviews and writing business plan, and public pitching. 
3.  Designed AI and Blockchain system and  managed of 7 people engineer teams across Asia, Africa, U.S .

Develop deep learning and statistical approaches to understand the mechanism of gene
regulation and the relationship between genetic variation and complex traits, such as neuronal
degenerative diseases.

1. Developed Tree-based Recurrent Neural Network model to capture complex DNA grammar.Implemented
distributed stochastic gradient descent method on Apache Spark.
2. Studied allele-specific expression in 900 post-mortem human brains through Bayesian
inference.
3. Co-led the integrative analysis in NIH Roadmap Epigenomics Project, published cover paper
in Nature.
4. Developed motif-based secondary antibody validation, which has been adopted as part of
standard protocol in the ENCODE consortium.

Developing computional methods to analyze high-throughput sequencing data and 3D
chromatin structure.

1.  Developed semi-definite programming techniques to find the best structure fitting the
observed chromatin interaction data(e.g., Hi-C data).
2.  Developed a novel motif finding algorithm for ChIP-seq data. Implemented effecient EM
algorithm based on importance sampling and variational length extention for parameters
learning.
