About Zifan Wang

Senior Software Engineer at Block, Inc

I’m a backend software engineer with 8 years of experience building scalable platforms in the payments and banking space. Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely on mission-critical systems and contributed to designing reliable, high-performance services.

In addition to my engineering work, I’ve been actively involved in hiring and mentoring. I’ve interviewed dozens of candidates and helped onboard and guide many new hires. As a mentor, I focus on practical, growth-oriented guidance.

I can support you with: • Resume review and improvement • Mock interviews and coding interview preparation • Shadowing and pair programming sessions • Project planning and execution guidance

Whether you’re preparing for a new role, looking to level up your backend engineering skills, or seeking feedback on your career path, I’d be happy to help.
