Being part of ADPList means contributing to a global community where knowledge is shared openly and people genuinely want to help each other grow. I’ve had conversations with mentees from different countries, backgrounds, and career stages, and every session reminds me how powerful mentorship can be. This passion for mentorship also led me to take on the Student Activities Committee Co-Chair role at the IEEE Philadelphia Section, where I’m now building a STEM mentorship program for high school students. It’s incredibly rewarding to see someone gain clarity, confidence, or direction after a conversation.

I started mentoring because I saw many talented students and early-career professionals struggling to break into data engineering and analytics without clear guidance. Early in my own career, a few people took the time to explain complex systems and career decisions to me, and it made a huge difference. Mentoring through ADPList allows me to pass that forward and help others navigate the same journey with more clarity and confidence.

Focus less on collecting tools and more on understanding how real systems work. Strong fundamentals and curiosity will always matter more than chasing the latest technology trend.
