ADPList Community Partnerships, 2021 to 2022

Charleston Women In Tech, November 2021

Charleston Women In Tech is an organization that connects, supports and prepares women of all ages for careers in technology. It hosts quarterly events at tech companies in Charleston and online webinars, and it shares resources and connections for career growth. The partnership let its members:

• get career advice, portfolio reviews and leadership advice from ADPList mentors
• book 1:1 mentorship sessions with the organization's own mentors on ADPList
• get priority access to future workshops, events and group mentorship sessions the two communities created together

ImmiSearch, March 2022

ImmiSearch is a platform that gives detailed guidance on submitting immigration applications in Canada. Its stated mission is to create a safe and simple space for immigration matters. The partnership included two things:

• a series of group sessions hosted by the ImmiSearch team on the ADPList platform, with speakers from both sides
• a partner badge that ImmiSearch members could claim for their ADPList profiles

UX East Meets West, April 2022

UX East Meets West is a community that aims to raise awareness of UX-centric design and give members a safe place to share and collaborate. At the time, the team was focusing on product design publication and mentorship programs. The partnership aimed to support Taiwanese UX professionals worldwide through mentorship, and it included events and content initiatives.

Calgary UX, May 2022

Calgary UX is an open UX community that works toward better interactions and more human connections. It builds a design community across disciplines and industries and creates spaces for practitioners to share and learn from one another. The partnership included group mentoring sessions run with Calgary UX and collaborations with mentors, to support the community's learning through mentorship.
