ADPList partners with the School of Visual Concepts

ADPList is partnering with the School of Visual Concepts (SVC) to support professionals and design students learning through mentorship. This partnership includes group sessions and content initiatives designed to empower the community.

About School of Visual Concepts (SVC)

The School of Visual Concepts supports professionals and design students in a number of ways:

1. Classroom training for apprenticeship programs and mentorships that promote diversity hiring for design and research.
2. SVC offered public UX certificate programs at the time of this 2022 announcement. SVC says it stopped offering public classes and UX Design and UX Writing certificates in 2026; see SVC’s site.
3. SVC offered public professional development workshops at the time of this 2022 announcement.
4. Custom professional development workshops for design and marketing teams.

At the time of the 2022 announcement, all classes and programs were taught live and led by very experienced working professionals.

“SVC was founded in 1971 with the philosophy that the best people to teach you aren’t teachers but those who are actually doing the work at a high level. This is mentorship in its highest form, and so SVC is grateful for the work ADPList is doing to bring professionals (and aspiring professionals) together. Many of our instructors are already ADPList mentors, and we’re delighted to join and support them through this partnership.”
