Design can be a lonely craft, and mentoring is learning along with designers beyond your day to day circle. Reading a msg ‘I finally got the job’ is fulfilling in many ways. Tbh, more potential erodes from misdirection than from lack of talent. Design education teaches the craft, but rarely how to navigate.

Learn to think before firing up the tools (not that tools aren't imp). First get the fundamentals, context, strategy, intent clear to the core.
