I started mentoring because I wanted to stay connected with the User Experience community. It was important to me to stay proactive in a difficult time. For a mentee, I would tell them to do their due diligence in their work and lean into the design process. I like being part of ADPList because of the community and fellowship. I like helping people navigate the job search process. I get a lot of joy seeing someone get motivated with my guidance.
